I've just replaced the trim (decor) piece on the driver's door of my '86 SPG. That part for my car is now obsolete so I used a good salvaged one which I repainted with semi matte black. This part may still be available for your car from a dealer. It's kind of a complicated piece of trim as it holds the rubber and felt "sqeegie" that wipes the window as it's raised and lowered. The trim is held on the sheet metal of the door by seven clips which also hold the rubber/felt strip.
I took the old one off my car by gently lifting the back end and when it was free of the door, pulled it back out of the hole at the mirror end.
There's a way to modify the clips so your glass won't get scratched ( I think SAAB upgraded the clips to avoid glass scratching ). Here's a link to a site which explains what to do. I used a dremel with a grinding wheel to remove the flange which scratches the glass. The site also has illustrations showing the way the trim and rubber are assembled. To install the trim, insert the front end into the hole at the mirror and gently push the trim down, engaging the clips over the edge of door sheet metal. Don't force it cause it can bend and become damaged.... if it won't seat down far enough, you can remove the piece and use a small screwdriver to slightly open any clips which are too tight.
There's also a small rubber end piece which fits at the rear end of the trim. I got this at a dealer for about $6.00.
