Hey all, long time saaber here. JUmped from a series of 8V 900's to a 9-3 a few years ago, missed the feel and look of the classic 900, and have been keeping an eye out since for a great deal. FOUND ONE..... I think

It is a 1986 C-900, body is in great condition, but is not running. The owner says it has not been able to idle for a while, which tells me a vaccum leak, and tehy used electrical tape to "seal" teh lines....LOL.

Anyhow, the body is clean, straight, looks great, even still has that little lower spoiler and the screens in teh lower cowl openings still..... SHOCKING I know. Car has 150K & I picked it up for $200. Has new front rotors & calipers, and new tiers and Master cyl. It looks like these folks were just not capable or could affor to keep an old Saab running.

OK, here is my question, the car will turn over, and kicks a bit and will catch, but not stay running. I am very familiar with the CIS system, but not the J-series Bosch which (I think) this has. Can anybody give me a good starting point to look for in this fuel system?
