After replacing the shift mechanism on my 93 900S with great results, I noticed the gas milage was really down. On further inspection I found there was gas leaking from the rear quarter, possibly from the passenger's side rear. The leaking would not occur unless the engine was running. I discovered this after pulling into a service station where I talked to the attendant who had been filling on a full service pump. There seemed to be a trail shining on the blacktop, running from the road right up to my car. There was no dripping after I filled the car, but when I started and drove about 10 feet, the trail was back. This seems to be a leak coming when there is pressure from the fuel pump and it seems to be in the vacinity of the tank where the pump I believe is also located. Any ideas?
Thanks W. B.
