Dying battery or starter?

Car is an '88 900 Turbo Convertible. Battery is exactly two years old. Within the last month, I've noticed it takes a bit longer than usual to start the car. Not by much, but noticeably about a second or two longer.
At first I thought this might just be due to cold weather, temps in the teens. It was slow, but always started.
But tonight, the inevitable... it wouldn't turn over. I push started it and it runs fine once started. The radio, lights, windows, etc. all operate normally.
Could it be that a battery only two years old is already bad, or am I looking at replacing the starter?
