Another possibility is excess pressure building in the crankcase from blow by of the piston rings. If pressure is getting around the piston rings, the crank case will build pressure causing oil to blow out the breather excessively. Take a compression reading of each cylinder and see if you have a low reading. Most Saabs are 150+. I know this is not the answer you want to hear, but it is a possibility.
