Let me see if my memory is still holding up. My '89 900S burned to the ground in 2001. That is the last c900 I own. I probably replaced the front bearing 3 to 4 years prior. The front axle nut requires a 1 1/4" socket to remove. Or use a 32 mm metric. A 1/2" drive ratchet (or breaker bar) and a cheater bar are required.
You need to take the knuckle to a garage or machine shop eqquiped with a press to get the old bearing out and press the new one in.
