I agree with Tom.
If you haven't changed the cap and rotor, you might have a bad rotor or terminals in the cap. I would have a helper start the car at night while you look under the hood. Look for sparks around the distributor. when you give the cap a spray of water. Inside the cap look for carbon tracks also indicating voltage leaks.
See if cleaning the dist contacts and rotor helps. If so replace the cap and rotor. Scraping the corrosion off is only a temporary fix and a new cap and rotor are the answer.
The clue is that the plugs fire out when you pull the wire and create a gap. What you are doing is creating an air gap capacitor that allows voltage to build up to a point high enough to fire the plug properly.
You might also have a coil problem combined with the cap issue. Since it's only 2 cylinders misfiring, the coil might be good. However, you could have 2 OK distributor cap contacts and 2 that are not so good. If the coil is weak, there might be enough juice to fire through the 2 good contacts but not enough to fire the 2 bad ones. Inspect the coil for cracks and give it a water spray at night to look for leakage.
