Don't have any pics, but I just replaced the cable last weekend. Required lots of 4-letter words, but I managed it.
In a nutshell, I removed the wiper arms, rubber covers, then the wiper motor.
Removed the 4 bolts holding the wiper transmission in place, and "shimmied" the assembly so that the drivers side was somewhat exposed. It was cumbersome, but I did do it. Little fingers and small tools help.
Two points:
1) I've pulled the transmission completely before. If you do remove the transmission, you really should put a pin to hold the pulley in place.
2) Make sure when you re-install the transmission back onto the motor's shaft, you recall the original placement of the drive shaft. It fits two ways... correctly and 180 degrees out. Ask me how I know - BTDT
