Hello,
Just bought a 93 900S Conv (Auto - 143K) today. Always wanted one but are pretty unfamiliar with them (or european cars in general) and not sure what to expect. So I will fire a couple of basic questions that I have from the first 50 miles
1.) After shutting off, my wife thought that the car was still running. I listened and felt a small vibration but I am pretty certain that it was fans running?? Only for about 10 secs.
2.) Running temps. Since there are not degree marks on the temp gauge I will use 1/4 increments. Open road - 1/2... City ~3/4? Sound close to normal?
3.) Bought a Bentley already but how difficult is it to work on these things? I am by no means a gearhead, but competent in mechanical skills... special tools needed?
Last thing - This site is great! I have already seen quite a few posts that have answered a couple of other questions that I have had. Look forward to reading more great posts and hopefully will be able to write a couple too.
Cheers,
Scott
