i had orderd a turbo muffler from advanced discount auto parts and the muffler came with out the extra foot of pipe that runs off the front,
so when i instaled it to make up the foot i used flex tube, it ran fine for bout 6 months, untill last night, some how driven threw washinton d.c. i ended up in a race.
after pulling 140 the flex tube blew, it sounds like an easy fix.
the only prob it im now 1000 miles from my man jack.i rolled the rear wheels of the car on a curb and tried to get under it to at least replace the flex, 5 bucks for new tube
i worked on it for bout 15 min then cracked my thumb on some of the blowen tube. well when that happend that was that,
got in the car and took it to midas muffler and brakes.
for them to take the old flex off and install a foot of pipe...........
well im a sucker i`ll just leave it at that. should of took it down the road to someone else.
but she humms once agian.
and as to who won the race, the other car couldnt take the coner at 130 and almost when off the road, after seeing this i brought her out of warp speed.
