Is there warped rotors test.

I suspect that I've got at least one slightly warped front rotor, but would like to ask how to confirm, rather than just replace the rotors and see if the symptoms go away.
This is on my 1993. The brakes do a good job stopping the car, but at slow speed with half brakes on, I can feel some pulsation at about the rate of every revolution of the wheel. So, I suspect a slightly warped rotor.
I'd think that the right approach is to access the rotor and with some type of measuring caliper/ dial guage to see if there is some variation on the front rotors. I don't have a special guage for checking that. Any other approach? Do rear rotors warp, and could that also be a cause/
