Oh, I'd never bother to do it with an oil pan drain washer, but maybe copper washers on banjo fittings to power steering pumps on cars set up that way. Easier than a trip to an auto parts store. I mentioned it 'cause it's a cool demo of a curiosity of metallurgy - - quench hot steel, and it hardens. Quench hot copper, and it softens. Try it sometime - - bend a piece of copper ground wire or other unstranded copper back and forth till it stiffens, then heat in a flame and drop it into water.
