It would help us if you told how many miles are on the car. The next thing to do is check the clutch itself by removing the black plastic cover. If there's brake fluid in there, your slave is leaking and at risk of failure. Look at the flywheel for bad scoring or overheating marks, and look at the clutch disc to see if there's any material left on it. If not, you need to change the clutch before the disc gets so thin it forces the slave past its seals, kills the hydraulic system, and makes your work much harder. There's a way to tell how much clutch you've got left by pulling the square panel off of the clutch cover and looking for play, but I forget what that is.
The only special tool you need to change the clutch is some sort of spacer (most people use a pail or bucket handle bent to shape). Use this spacer to hold the spring fingers down while someone/something holds the pedal down for you (friend, broom handle, etc.). With that spacer in place, remove the slave bolts, return spring/disc mounting bolts and pull the shaft out the front (rad in place) and remove the clutch as a unit. If you need to, get the flywheel resurfaced and press in a new throw-out bearing. Reassemble (Stephanie) and bleed. I challenge you to find an easier clutch job.
