that they do since people seldom have the need to "panic" stop.
At first, it was difficult for me to duplicate the symptoms. I'd pick up my whole leg and slam on the brakes as fast as I could but found this was not very successful or controlled. Now, I kind of "cock" my foot meaning that I pull my toes up towards my shin, slide my heel further towards the brake pedal keeping it on the floorboard and kind of quickly snap my foot onto the brake pedal. This is much more successful in duplicating the symptoms and provides greater control. The car slows but the brake pedal is really hard and the car veers.
I recommend that anyone with ABS test their systems under "panic" stops (preferably in a safe environment).
Weather permitting, I'll change out my valve block this weekend and will post back with my results.
