ANNIE, the first step is to narrow the problem down to lack of spark or lack of fuel. (Ignore the fuses for now). Pull the coil wire off of the distributor and place it so that the brass tip is about 1/32" from a ground point (and not any fuel). Don't be touching it! Have someone crank the engine briefly and watch for a bright spark. If you get a spark there reconnect the coil to distributor wire and then pull out one of the spark plugs and, with the wire still connected, lay it so that the threaded part is in contact with a ground point. You could hold it with rubber handled pliers. Look for a spark there while cranking the engine (When you do this there is a small possibility of the engine starting and running on 3 cylinders so be ready to turn it off. But since this car won't start with 4 plugs that possibility is small, right?) If you get no spark at either one of those tests then you have to find the problem in the ignition system.
If the spark plugs exhibit a bright spark then you should see whether there is fuel getting into the combustion chambers. I start by cracking the fuel rail fitting loose and seeing whether gas squirts out after cranking for a few seconds. That's the bolt with the 17 mm head on the front end of the fuel rail where the fuel line attaches. Hold the rail with a 19 mm wrench and just crack the bolt loose. Fuel should spray out (no smoking). Then re-tighten the bolt, Not too tight, It's a hollow bolt and may break if you are too energetic. If no fuel sprays out then you must troubleshoot the fuel system. If fuel does spray out then you must see whether it's getting through the injectors. (Were the plugs wet with gasoline (not oil) when you took them out after cranking the engine?) It's possible that both the fuel and ignition systems are not working. Do those tests and repost with the results. You'll get help from this board as you narrow down the problem. Good luck.
