What's UP DOC????? Posted by Doug [Email] (#3538) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Doug) on Thu, 16 Mar 2006 15:03:01 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I removed the bypass valve and upon hooking up the cooling hoses got some warm air for a few minutes. I let the engine run for 15 minutes until the hoses to the heater were more than warm but not hot. The radiator hose was the same temp. The blower motor was blowing "tepid" air and then a few moments later it was a bit cooler.
Can this be the Heater valve just having a "mind of it"s own"??
I had the temp switch to max heat from the get go. I know it is connected to the valve as I just connected it yesterday!!!!
1992 900 turbo. Would changing the thermostat really change the hose temperature enough to create hot air????
