If you look at my other posts from last summer you will see ALOT of info on removing the pressure plate using vice grips/ C-clamps and fat nuts. If you insert fat nuts between the flywheel and pressure plate and then retighten the bolts it creates a space to insert the wire ring.
The clutch shop I bought my new Sachs clutch from loaded it for me with a copper wire ring to depress the fingers.
Here's the question - Are you seeing fluid leak from under the slave? Do you know for certain that it is the slave that's leaking? In my case I found that I had to replace the metal tubing that connects the master to the slave. I eventually replace all 3 components.
Rebuild or replace - There is a site sponsor - Commercial Tech Services - who usually has masters and slaves inexpensively ($25) - He sells a great number of Saab parts on the Big Auction Site under the ID - jocary4 - and eeuroparts has the connecting tube.
