I like the deluxe, they don't squeal, break in nice and are just plain good.
I've had them in a cople of saabs, vw's, volvo and a rx7.

I think I got a set of balo rotor from e-euro once.
Put them in a friends car and they worked great.
There was a little machining roughness left on the surface, just a little.
So the pad broke in with just a few stops and wer nice and strong - 93 2.1

I usually soak the crap out of the pads before I put them in.
Fill them up with cleaner 2-3 times befoe I put them in.
Clean the rotors real good w/ some steel wool and brake cleaner.
Use a fair amount of anti-seixe on the back of the pad, you can see from the old on where it hits the caliper/piston.
Same on all the slider and stuff too.

I got one of the big high tmp jars of anti-seize and use it on just about everything - or lock tight - whichever is appropriate!

Kepr everything nice and clean, and break in the pad properly and you will be very happy.

It's a good time to take a good look at the rubber sealy on the pistons - cleam them up with some armor all or something looking for cracks. Same thing with the ball joints, tie rod ends and the CV joint. I'll let you what your next project will be - lol!!

Change the brake fluid while your are in there too.
Also it's a good idea to get a set of the wrenches that capture all the points on the nuts - you DON'T want to round one of the brake line nuts over! They come in handy to break stuff free w/o damage.

So get dirty once nand fix everything!!

Good luck!
Carl
