I get lots of comments about the looks of my '90 900. I'm a large guy, not fat, just large, and removed the bolster and console to make room for my legs. The seat collapsed, which turned out to be a good thing for me, because now I have the headroom I always wanted. The back deck collapsed, but I hot glued a 2" dowell to the roll part, and it's staying up now. The headliner collapsed, so I got out the electric stapler, some gold brokade brickabrac, and stapled that sucker back up.

Mechanical problems have included clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, clutch, shocks, just replaced the original exhaust. I replaced the ignition with a hotter set from Flamefront. I did the larger injectors. I did the 11" clutch kit. I have no power options at all, which is not cool here in Kentucky. I need either AC or electric windows wicked bad. I miss N.H. because it's so hot here in the summer. Anyway, over 300k miles, I would have expected a lot more problems than she's given me.

So in closing, the perfect Saab for me is my sedate looking turboless 900
