Actually, they work for MY 97-93 + 94 convertible. I have a set of Speedparts e-code headlights, but I warn you they come without the plug and different wiring harness for the lights. They also utilize an H4 bulb, different from the N. America model. I bought mine from a guy in Canada on Ebay. I have had a hard time finding the saucer-sized plugs and wiring harness from sources on this continent. I have even tried Elkparts in the UK. They sell the lamps, but no harness. Hopefully, I will come across some at the Carlisle, PA show in May. From what I have seen and read the e-code lamps give your car a more focused, brighter beam, and a unique front end look. OTOH, if you live in a state that has annual safety inspections, they could fail the test because they are not DOT spec. If the mechanic doing the inspection notices this, you may want to offer him $20 to overlook the issue (Virginia sucks!) or you will find yourself swapping out headlights (or e-code turnsignals like me) just to pass inspection.
