Well......it's an automatic trans - unfortunately. I did shift it through the gears, but who knows what it would be like on the road. Guess I could run it a little, even on 3 cylinders. Body is basically OK - except for a rust spot coming through on the lower drivers door. Interior is fairly good, with the usual sagging headliner. - I guess the auto trans would be one of the major liabilities with this car?? - Oh, the yard has an '88 16V engine, non-turbo, that he also wants $200 for; supposed to have about 138K on it. Yard has had it since '97, and would like to get rid of it (rural NE Oregon, not much market for Saab stuff in this area). There may be a Saab outlet in Portland or Seattle, I'd have to investigate.
