With engine on and warmed up, I jumped the thermo-switch and the fan turned on.
I unplugged that dumb fan timer relay (which was in sad shape like the rest of the relays I've messed with) and jumped the two yellow wires. The fan turned on. I wasn' table to keep a good connection between the wires though, I'll work on that later.
When I plugged the relay back in though which should have done the same thing, the fans did not come on.
Won't be driving the car til the parts come in! (I ordered the thermo-switch and the relay just to be safe). At least the weather's nice enough for the bicycle...
