I generally like the chore of checking, cleaning and securing all elec connections as preventive maintenance. I once got bit one time hard though with a distributor plug problem. A similar no-start situation after some head work, turned out to be the distributor plug. Specifically one of the internal prongs on the dist body plug which are supposed to press against the wire plug contact had lost it's "spring" and wasn't pressing outward enough to make contact. Of course by sight all was fine, but it was only after I poked around in there with a tiny probe and pulled the metal strip outward, then reconnected, turned the key over and it started did I realize that was the problem. I wasn't even looking for that as the problem, I was just trying everything I could to eliminate a problem source before replacing major components. Speaking of lelec issues, just this afternoon i have to find out why my auto door locks don't work. I've read on here all the possible reasosn and am looking forwad to an easy fix (I hope... continuum willing)
