You might consider refurbishing your calipers before replacing or upgrading. They're easy to take apart and once you do, you'll probably find considerable grime/corrosion along where the piston must travel through the seal. If one piston can't travel because of a ring of corrosion on, say, the inside piston, then the outside piston takes up the pressure and that can cause uneven wear. You can give them a good cleaning with steel wool and solvent, then repack the parking break mechanism with caliper grease, then lube the piston surface with the same grease before reassembly. Sound rubber seals on both sides of the caliper helps keep corrosion to a minimum. I refurbished all my older style calipers recently and the improvement is noticable.
