Make sure that the number stamped into the top of the AMM is 013. If it's 005, take it out and give it away before you're tempted to use it in another swap. My guess is that it's OK because you haven't grenaded the ECU yet. But check just be sure.
Make sure the hose clamps on the turbo duct boots are tight and all vacuum hoses are tight.
Since you might have tossed the distributor from your old engine onto the replacement to keep the same hall effect plug, re-time it. It might be way off. Once I did something similar on a Mopar that I tossed an engine into - the timing was retarded something like 70 degrees. It ran (!) but didn't have any power and was RPM limited just like you describe.
And, since it's late, have a beer, get a good night's sleep, and combe back to it in the morning. This isn't your daily driver, is it? (And you probably have work tomorrow.)
