Yea...my mechanic called me today (he's a friend as well) & just wanted me to call him. So I did & this is what he had to say.

Gary, I have the car you need to buy, it's a 944 turbo with track brakes/suspension/etc & it's going for $10,500. Sell you saab & buy this as a track car.

I told him I would loose my a$$ if I sold the thing thus I need to keep ahold of it for a few years untill I can get out of debt & afford a track car.

Anyways, my luck has been crappy with my SPG at the track. Headgasket, trans, IC boots, engine & the list goes on :( I just signed up for a school July 8-9 & HOPEFULLY it will be at or close to 100% so I will FINALLY get a weekend to drive the thing I slowly learn how to go fast in that car. There's a good chance I am going to need new tires & the hoosiers are calling me :)

In regards to laptimes, at the cincy SOC I was doing 1.34 to 1.35 laps & that was with a engine that was pretty much dead, blew something in in that day. In my stock viggen I was able to do low 1.29's consistantly with a stock car/tires (except rear ARB & VRK). My last school in my SPG which accelerated about the same as a STi/evo8 (guessing 225 HP vs 350-400 I should have) I did low 1.26 times & I know I will be able to go a few seconds quicker with the added power & jorgens LSD.

I am presently trying to get my LSD shipped with minimum duties so I can get my car thrown together before the school. Then I will have videos to share :)
