all these things are going on with the instrument cluster on my 88 spg : first the left turn sinal light on the cluster came on without application of the switch ( glowing steady )( corresponding lights on body were not on during this ) . after a couple of knocks from my hand on the top of the dash the light went out and stayed out for a couple of days . next this same light came back on without my request along with the high beam dash light . now these 2 lights are remaining on , but the high beam indicator goes out if I turn the high beams on ! when I turn on the left turn signal the dash and exterior lights work as they should for the signaling , but the tach bounces to 0 and back with every blink of the turn signal . also my clock is losing time in a manner that leads me to believe it stops when I am using my headliht high beams . also when car is idleing with the exterior lights off , the tach reads about 300 less than actual ( looks like I am idleing at 500 when the rpm's are actually at about 850 . please help . I hope there is a soltion without taking the dash apart . is there something I could do through the speaker hole like wiggling some ground or other wires ? sorry this is so long I thought the details might help people figure out what is going on . p.s. upshift light previously erratic now it never comes on .
