OK, I did a little work on the Saab and will summerize the results:
-Starter works off line
-Ignition relay under hood responds to ignition
-Ignition relay under back seat responds to ignition
-I do not see the Alarm system under the back seat
---there is a "can" behind the passenger side
---A Nokia phone module in the center
---A bank of relays behind the driver
---A jumpered plug on the side rear wall on the drivers side
---There is a place for the jumpered plug on the passenger side rear wall (no plug)
-The car is an Automatic
-I jumpered the "yellow/red-yellow" on the shifter to bypass the N/P lockout
-The lights remain bright when attempting to start the motor
-Locked and unlocked doors with the key
-still cant find the alarm but I remember there is one (horn and blinking lights)
-All accesories work
-There is a "humming" for 2 seconds when the key is turned. The car has always done this. Seems normal.
**there has been some water in the rear floor of the car due to a small hole in the top. I got rid of it but things are still damp.
