"Use a 15/16 shallow socket and a long 8 mm* 1.25 bolt. Put the socket end over the gear the clutch shaft resides in and stick the 8 mm bolt with large washer through the center of the socket to use as a clutch shaft puller."
You might want to use a more washers in the stack, if the bolt is too long to seat on the end of the socket.
Worked very well for me and for one desparate clutch replacer who had a few threads going on the board not so long ago.
