My daughter was replacing her plug wires on a 87na 16V and is 600 miles away. To be safe I sent her a copy of page 340-5 from my 16V Bentley manual. I had planned to talk to her before she started to emphasize only do one wire at a time. Armed with Bentley it seemed simple to her so she charged ahead. Good show of independance but from my recent phone conversation the wires are all messed up and it won't start.Distributor and cap were not moved. I did a search and found several references to a Bentley misprint. The 340-5 pic is also of a turbo and I looked at a couple of my spare turbo and non-turbo distributors(forgot I have a almost new 85T!) and see that the cap position is about 45 degrees different between turbo and non-turbos so the pic relationship to a non-turbo is more confusing. Anyone have a simple desription of how to get the wires back on the correct cap towers?
