Sometimes it's where you're located that makes a huge difference. In areas of the country that use salt on the roads, rust-free cars are becoming increasingly difficult to find, but in the south and west, rust is not as much of a problem. Are you willing to have a car shipped to where you are? I'd say, come-up with a maximum amount you want to spend and find the most-rust free example you can find. as a back-up/fun car, you won't be reliant on it on a daily basis, and if you need repairs you can take care of it at your convenience. Keep your eye on the classifieds here, watch ebay, and call SAAB dealers and independent mechanics in a radius you're willing to drive to look at cars. You'll find something that fits your criteria, but be patient. I've gotte a bunch of great cars cheap because the owner just didn't feel like fixing its current problem. Good Luck! Jon
