The 55602 sounds like a turbo trans. The 45610 would be a non-turbo. I think your question is to replace the 556-- with the 456--. They will both bolt up to the block. As Hans said the front cover may be different. The simplest method is to use the front mount assembly that came with the trans. The body will accept both hydraulic or rubber mounts. Trans with --6-- i.e. a six as the 3rd # have the same ratios. They are geared to run about 65mph at 3K rpm. The --7-- trans will run a little over 75 at 3k rpm. The 5----- series turbo trans has an extra support bearing for 5th gear. IMHO if you need to use a non turbo trans on a turbo I would drive very smoooooth because of the slightly less beef on the 5th gear shaft. No clutch popping powershifting stuff.
