But - it depends on where the car spends its time. Most common places: Over fender wells, interior of doors at the bottom, front of hood, along horizontal crease on hatch, and (worst of all) where the Pass. side A-Arm attaches to the body with the long bolt.
Plan on a Bentley Manual for 16-valve ($25-$50), and they're reasonable projects, and lots of fun to drive.
Beware of Passive (automatic) seatbelts. Can be converted to normal manual ones.
Is there a Saab Independent Repair shop near you for the things you won't do? And are there Junk Yards for available used parts? Not trying to scare you! Just giving info, and this Bulletin Board is an unusual and extremely valuable resource. And the Sponsors here are great.
