Two things here-
The automatic in the OG900 is a three-speed. Not bad around town, but can be buzzy at highway speeds. There is a performance hit going to the autobox.
The transmission in a OG900 is in essentially in backwards, which is actually a good thing. Replacing a clutch in a manual tranny OG900 is amazingly easy. You don't have to drop the tranny or move the engine, or any of the things you normally need to do to replace a clutch. I replaced one in a parking lot in about two hours, and that included finding my tools and then putting them away.
If you don't care which tranny, go for the manual. You'll get better performance, better gas mileage, and if you're worried about a clutch replacement, it's no biggie. If you prefer automatics, then go with an automatic. But I'd drive both.
