It's a bit hard to see... in my '86, and I suspect it's the same in a '90, I remove the lower dash pad (after removing the center consol) to more easily gain access to the switch. I'm old and don't bend very well anymore so I also remove the driver's seat and lie on my back to change the switch.. I've read that some can replace the switch without removing the lower dash and seat but I can't do it that way....
