did the problem start when you moved the battery? if so look there.
does the battery/charge light come on in the dash before you start the car? if not you need to replace it.
if you disconnect the battery while running and the car stops see charge light above or regulator below.
if you keep the revs up above about 2k and disconnect the battery and it still is running, then ease down to about 1500. if it dies see charge light above regulator below.
if none of these is conclusive check the regulator, which has the brushes in it. very worn brushes sometimes work better at speed.
if the battery/charge light is missing or burned out a very well documented condition exists - no charging! - However if you keep the revs above about 2000 it will charge. Figured that out when car kept quitting after the jumpers were removed. I got behind the wheel and kept the revs up and lo and behold it kept running, so I drove the car home with revs high!
But since you are getting some charge voltage a low revs, I bet on the brushes being very worn.
