I've done some research-mainly on this site. Tons of great info-Thank You everybody!
I beleieve I am dealing w/ two seperate issues---both involving the seat backs
Driver's seat - Twisting --probably a sheath/houseing issue. I will be attempting the fix this weekend
Passenger seat - is missing the seat back tilt button. I was able to get the back to tilt forward using a flathead screwdriver to activate the switch. Unfortunatly, I can't get the switch to activate and tilt the back backward.
A few questions:
A. Does anyone have any insight into how to tilt the seat back blindly (i.e. using the switch w/ out the button)
B. Is it possible the switch itself is shot and just doesn't move backwards (has anyone run into this before)
C. Is it possible to manually adjust the seat backs to a fixed position and just ignore the fact that the buttons/power adjustment are basically inoperable for various reasons
again---thank you for the info!
