im sure the fuse was blown for a good reason, something along the lines of a short in a door or in the hatch, if the fuse keeps blowing.
bout the key, i have the same prob, however i never really got around to fixing it, i found my key stoped working when someone tryed to break into the car by the rear hatch, the key will work its just that the pieces in the lock or the spring on the hach latch are broke, when you try to unlock the hatch turning the key to the right, after you hit the point you can not turn any more, give it a little bit of muscle and force the key to turn little bit more to the right, it will almost feel like the key is going to break, but right before it dose you`ll hear the lock give a (pop), and its unlocked,
to fix it i spose replace the lock all together or the spring at the hatch latch.
now there are other ways of finding a short, if the fuse is replaced with a higher amp, it will allow more current to flow and where the short is, well the wires or the item will heat up so hot it will fry the item or the wire causing the short, that is if it dont burn the car down first, but i doubt that. ( i done this to my locking system after it kept blowing 10 amp. fuses put in a 30 amp. seems the problem was in my passenger side door, well what ever the problem was its fryed now, the drivers door only locks the hatch now, i spose i need to fix that to, gosh)
let use know how it goes
