Found something that may be the clue to poor running, starting and drivability. Noticed that the vac hose to the inlet(?) side of the manifold from the AIC was distorted at various moments in the idle cycle. I didn't think it was a mojor problem until I was watching it happen and realised the hose was being completely blocked This was causing poor idle and inability to set O2 and AMM (LH2.2) I could have bought a new hose but being a (woodworker) innovator I forced a compression spring down the middle to keep it open. No more hunting ,nice idle Seems good>
Question While checking the voltage fluctuation of the O2 sensor it stays steady at .2 volts until a point where it begins to fluctuate around .2 to .7 as the brass screw is being screwed in. No further variation is noted as the brass srew is turned further however. I've yet to check the resistance at terminals 3 & 6 on the AMM at this point. Have I made the correct assumption that this may be the set point for the AMM. I will check again tomorrow and return a post.
Right I'm off to watch the Socceroos do battle with Italy My call Australia 2-1
Cheers Daz
