The easitest way to sea if you a losing coolant is to put a long piece of tape at teh coolant level on the res.
Check it every week or so to see if you have a problem now - then whenever you think about it later. If it's going down, well it's gotta be going somewhere.
I had a 90 900s w/ 200k on the original head gasket and it went die to an overheat (prevoius owner).
I have a 86 SPG w/209k on the original head gasket and it went due to an "hot spell" whe a coolant line was cut by road debris.
So, 126k is A-OK. Make sure you're water pump is pumping and not leaking (again the tape will tell), make sure your fan switch, fans and electrical stuff is working. Change you thermostat once in a while - like every couple of years when you change coolant. And make sure your hoses are in good shape (even the ones to the throttl body).
Watch for coolant in the driver footwell, that your heater core.
Keep the car hapy and maintained and it won't leave you stranded or with an unexpected big repair bill. If you keep an eye out on things, you'll know when the big bill is comming. Which is way better then when you find out 300 miles from home from the most shady mechanic to ver turn a wrench on a Saab.
