Good God man, why would you want to go and do something like that? The Saab/Clarion radios were good back in the '80s, but by the '90s they were starting to get pretty dated... Not good stuff at all! Clarion and Blaupunkt both make good units that look pretty decent in a c900. I just installed a Clarion DB265 in my 5-door - it's cheap and looks at home. :)
If you really want one, though, I'd probably try SaabRadios.com. They sell restored/repaired factory radios at pretty decent prices. You might luck out getting used, but in my experience most of them have broken tape mechanisms, bad connections with their cage, etc. If you want to try your luck, I've got a radio/cassette/amp pulled from my '93 900S sitting in the garage. I'm sure we can work something out... It worked when I pulled it, but that was only for the two weeks before a Blaupunkt went in. :)
Oh, speaking of all this - I would go ahead and pull that Premier carefully out before shopping for a new stereo. You'll want to know whether the installer hacked up the factory wiring harness back there, did a good job, or better yet used an adapter. Also, you'll want to see what is left in there. When I install a stereo, I always remove all of Saab's DIN cables since they take up a bunch of room. If those are missing, you'll have to consider which stereo you reinstall. Remember, there were basically three generations of Saab radios on later c900s - the multi-color LED EQ ones, which require both head unit and EQ to work, the second-generation ones with the amp integral to the head unit, and an optional eq or CD, and the third-generation ones with an external amp for the rear speakers and an optional eq or CD. Depending on what's left [intact] in your dash, you may want to tailor your "new" installation.
