We've all had moments like that, maybe you spilled a few drops somewhere in the engine compartment and it dripped off when you moved the car? I could tell you about the time I forgot to replace the... nah - it would only make me look dumb. :-)
The strange thing is that the brake fluid level looks fine - and the clutch is operating more normally now, though a bit close to the floor when it engages. I DO seem to have a vacuum leak of some sort connected to the servo unit - after braking the pedal slowly sinks to the floor. Haven't had the time or money to pull the servo unit and check it out yet, as it's slow enough that it's an annoyance rather than a safety problem - I just have to pump the brake a couple of times when I'm waiting at a stoplight or something.
I wonder if the two problems could be related? Automotive coincidences usually aren't.
