I'm with you there, buddy. She gets all my attention lately and my girlfriend seems not so happy.
Mine's a '90 SPG that I bought a few weeks ago from its original owner and I'm doing a fairly extensive restoration. Everything but paintwork because the original paint buffed out well and there's no body damage. This one sits next to my '89 Edwardian Grey Turbo that has been mechanically restored and is awaiting some minor paint work. These are great cars. I get more enjoyment from them than from my '04 Porsche. The bodies are beautiful, the car can haul far more than my Passat sedan because of the hatch, and it's easy to maintain, except for getting the alternator in and out. People complain unnecessarily about the transmissions. The transmissions don't last as long as the engines, but they take a lot of abuse from folks who tinker with the boost. They are not the strong point of the car, but they are not awful either.
