When I need a bolt, usually the easiest way I find to get a replacement is too take a clone bolt (one that is exactly the same) off the car, go to the local hardware store (not the giant chains), look at the bins with rows and rows of nuts, bolts, washers and every other assortment of connecting hardware ever invented by man or women anywhere in the known universe until I find a replacement.
If it's a bolt I need, I search until I find a nut (I don't mean myself or any other person walking around the store) that threads easily onto the bolt. This way, I now have the thread count/inch and pitch. I then take the nut to the bin with bolts until I find a similar sized bolt that the nut threads onto. Now I have the bolt. I will usually buy a couple. Buying one is a sure fire way to guarantee you will loose the one you just purchased requiring you to repeat the above. Buying several ensures the part will not get lost. Don't ask me why, murphy's law or whatever, but it's just the way it works.
I'm sure others will post other methods. I'll list a few:
1) Purchase a parts car, store in your driveway until you need a part
2) Purchase a IPB (illustrated parts breakdown), get part number, order from supplier
3) go to pick and pull, aka junk yard, recycler
Good luck
