spent satuday ripping out the interior/padding and carpet
found some rust in the floorboard which I repaired
no water in the vinyl under the back window. (Any clues as to how to check under that vinyl?)
Trunk is dry
Drains are open
When I wet down the car the only place water was coming in was at the bottom rear corner of the rear drivers window ---but everything was draining into the fender-out the drains. My assumption was that this was by design. Am I wrong?
so---I parked on an incline last night and it rained---and carpet is wet again.
when I tested it (wet down the car) I was on level ground---I'm thinking I should have done it on an incline.
Anyway---any ideas on limiting water intake from that corner or is this just the nature of the beast?
Any other ideas would be appreciated---thank you!
