'89...2.09 kohms is above the 0.5-1.5 that Saab limited, but it still isn't bad enough that you'd have to worry. The reason you set the meter at 20k for the test is to measure anything under that number(which is what you are looking for). If for example you had a really high number(above 20k), the meter might not give a reading until you switched to a higher scale. If the scale was set at 2000, that's too low to read anything above that number(which most of your wires tested above, but still in the good range).
