Re: 93TC - A while ago I posted a shifter problem - would not go into first or second. On great advise from RS I checked the coupler on the shifter rod. It was delaminated so a couple of hose clamps fixed it right up. About a month later, a trip on the highway resulted in no 5th gear. It seem like the shifter rod is not being pushed (pulled) back far enough as it will almost engase but will grind and pop out. So, the question is, can clamping the coupler result in a change in shifter rod length that will effect 5th? Also, can the adjustment of the reverse lock-out in on the bottom of the shifter effect shigting into 5th? Again, thanks in advance.
