Jayd, I went through similar wild idle fluctuations with my 89TC. After replacing all vacuum hoses with silicone, *most* of the problem went away. After cleaning the AIC, some of the rest went away, and after replcing the AMM, all of it went away. I would suggest starting with the easy, cheap stuff first - check for vacuum leaks and replace hoses. Even if one is bad and the rest look "good," replace them all, it is cheap and easy. It is easy to clean out the AIC with carb cleaner. The AMM is a bit expensive, but I got a rebuilt one from a site sponsor -just make sure you get one matched to your year/model.
