High voltage at ground point 201

Good morning.
I have an 87 900T with 45k miles. It sat for several years before I bought it last fall. It has performed well since then.
My temp gauge and clock stopped working last week. While tracing the wires, I checked all the ground points and discovered intermittant high voltage at grounding point 201 (the engine lifting lug) of approx 10.6 volts. Sometimes this voltage is present, sometimes not (with the ignition off). When the ignition is in the "on" position, the voltage seems to always be present.
The car starts and runs normally. Other than the clock and temp gauge, I have not noticed any other problems or issues.
All fuses are good.
The voltage is present on both sets of wires from the 2.2 ignition system. I have not diagnosed the ECU yet (as per the Bently manual), but I will probably check that next.
Although it probably won't help fix my clock, I am very curious to why such high voltage is going to ground.
I anyone can help point me in the next direction, I would like to figure this out.
Thank you.
