Im having my 5-speed rebuilt right now by a guy in Phoenixville pa.. about 45 minutes north and west of philadelphia. He is a really cool guy... and the other customers in and out of the shop swore by him. He was a saab mechanic for 15 years and has been in biz for himself now for about 10. I havnt gotten mine back yet... but should mid week. He is rebuilding the trans and doing a list of other things. He fit me in immediately and is cranking the job right back out for me! Again... my "knowledge" is only from word of mouth... his and those around him... but I felt really comfortable with the guy. He loves to educate and really seems to know his stuff! His name is Tom and the station is Carter's Saab service. You may want to look into it! Wish I had the number on me but I dont. Best wishes in your search!
